Two weeks June  9 2011  9:07 PM EST

What can happen in two weeks? A whole lot of nothing, I guess. I mean, sure, stuff might have happened. Something may have changed, but nothing really has.

I'm working more (nearly entirely) on the algorithmic part of the digital wound assessment research now. I get to read papers about image segmentation, color correction, support vector machines, all sorts of neat stuff. I'll even get to implement it and have it used for something :D I really don't know if I should write a paper about it, though.

My other work is still under a non-disclosure agreement. Will be for a year or something like that. It's still going, however. I guess I'm technically a "expert contractor," or so says my contract.

I was walking a lot. A whole lot. At least once a day. Nearly an hour each time, at the least. But, sometimes, out there, you come across parts of yourself you didn't mean to. At that point, it's just do what you can to deal. Well, I decided not to walk as much. Haven't in a few days. Going on a week or something now.

This isn't what I would call "better."
